The sixth IPL match of 2025 was held on March 26 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). KKR won the match by eight-wickets. The team’s victory primarily depended on Quinton de Kock who played an undefeated 97-run innings.

KKR chose to begin the match by bowling first which allowed their spinners to successfully reduce RR’s batting strength. Two wickets for 17 runs separated Varun Chakaravarthy from Moeen Ali who obtained 2 wickets for 23 runs. The joint batting efforts of Varun Chakaravarthy and Moeen Ali resulted in RR scoring only 151 runs before losing 9 wickets in the match.

During KKR’s batting innings Quinton de Kock maintained a composed approach while combining aggressive strokes to lead his team to victory. Kolkata Knight Riders reached victory with de Kock staying not out at 97 runs from 61 deliveries while hitting eight fours and six sixes. The team finished their run with 153 for 2 off 17.3 overs to claim victory by having 15 balls to spare.
